Soszyn Calabash Vessels

I have been working with gourds on and off for over 35 years. I have painted, airbrushed, carved and wood-burned them, created vessels, boxes, drums, rattles and more... mini gourds, to huge calabash - that I imported from Africa. 

 

Over the years I created over 10,000 handmade of pieces. Some are one of kind and other designs were production pieces for catalogs, galleries, craft gift stores and museum shops.

 

Most of the pieces for sale on this site are my personal collection - I tried to keep one of each over the years, if possible, or only made one and didn't sell it...yet.
